藍鳥與遊騎兵這對「世仇」將在台北時間7日清晨4時30分在5戰3勝的首輪季後賽對決，藍鳥今天宣布由Marco Estrada，遊騎兵由Cole Hamels主投。藍鳥重砲Jose Bautista的表現，相當受到矚目。
兩隊之間的火藥味延續到今年，5月15日之戰，遊騎兵隊後援投手Matt Bush先對Bautista投出觸身球保送，Bautista上壘之後，接著要滑上二壘的動作惹惱了遊騎兵二壘手Rougned Odor，兩隊在球場內演出全武行。現在藍鳥在外卡驟死賽轟退金鶯，又要在首輪季後賽對戰遊騎兵隊，戰況讓人期待。
去年首輪季後賽藍鳥就是與遊騎兵對戰，遊騎兵隊先拿兩勝聽牌， 不料藍鳥隊靭性十足，接下來竟連勝3場，硬是把遊騎兵隊淘汰出局，Jose Bautista在這5戰打擊表現精采，二壘打、全壘打各2支，尤其是第5戰7局下的逆轉3分彈，帶給藍鳥最後勝利，但Bautista過激的動作也引來遊騎兵隊的不滿。
